On September 18th, 2024, Amb. Dr. Santino Fardol W. Dicken, presented his letter of credence to His Excellency Joseph R. Biden Jr., President of the United States of America, officially accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Chief of Mission of the Republic of South Sudan to the United States of America.

During the formal credentials’ ceremony, Amb. Dr. Fardol conveyed to President Biden the wishes of friendship and goodwill from H.E President Salva Kiir Mayardit, the Government and the people of South Sudan.

President Biden in turn wished Amb. Dr. Fardol the best in his assignment and duty in the United States and reaffirmed the commitment of the United States to supporting the people of South Sudan.
