Dear Friends and Fellow South Sudanese, 

It is my distinct honour and privilege to extend warm greetings to all of you. Our journey as a nation has been marked by resilience, hope, and a steadfast commitment to building a brighter future for our beloved South Sudan. In this spirit, I wish to convey a message of friendship, cooperation, and unity. The relationship between South Sudan and the United States is founded on mutual respect, shared values, and common interests. The United States has been a steadfast partner in our pursuit of peace, stability, and development. We deeply value the support and collaboration extended to us and are committed to further strengthening this bond. Our partnership concerns diplomacy, people-to-people connections, cultural exchanges, and economic cooperation. It is about working together to address regional and global challenges such as peace and security, climate change, health crises, and economic inequality. Through regional and international cooperation, we can create a more prosperous and peaceful world for all. 

I extend a heartfelt invitation to our vibrant South Sudanese Diaspora in North America to engage actively with their embassy in Washington, DC. You are an integral part of our national fabric, and your contributions are vital to South Sudan’s progress and development. Whether through investment, knowledge transfer, or cultural exchange, your efforts make a significant difference. 

The embassy is here to serve you, to listen to your concerns, and to support your endeavours. Together, we can build bridges that connect our communities and foster a sense of unity and purpose. Let us work hand in hand to promote peace, development, and a brighter future for our homeland. 

As we look to the future, let us be guided by the principles of cooperation, understanding, and shared responsibility. The challenges we face are great, but so too are the opportunities.
